Welcome to Maisondumidi

We are a Danish couple who have realised our dream and settled down in the Var, Provence, south eastern France, running a guest house offering bed and breakfast, self catering and much more. Dating from over 400 years ago, to us it is the epitome of southern France culture. The house is situated in the medieval town of Lorgues, located about an hour from Nice by road.

Maison du Midi, as it is called, has a beautiful, large, private garden with palms, mature chestnut trees, several terraces, a boules court, summer kitchen and a swimming pool. All rooms have  en suite 'shower rooms and some a small kitchen. The house has three floors and a large rustic wine cellar suitable for receptions, exhibitions, meetings and the like.
