Romantic weekend in Provence

Provence is a historic province in southeastern France between the Rhone river, Mediterranean and the Alps. Provence is today part of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d `Azur, it was, until 1481 an independent kingdom. Provence is famous for its food, wine, perfume, the beautiful and wild nature, and not least the amazing light that has attracted many artists over the years.

In the middle of all this lies Lorgues, where we found the lovely charming place Maison du Midi. The impressive entrance hall with stairs up to some of our rooms ooze history, dating from around the 1640th Late summer is still lovely in Provence, just a normal summer in the North.

So why not spend a romantic weekend at the Maison du Midi.

We offer an extended weekend of three days stay Friday, Saturday and Sunday only in September and October.

  • 3 days stay in one of our lovely rooms with breakfast included.
  • Dinner at Chateau de Berne in their Orangery or at the Michelin restaurant Chez Bruno (The French truffle king).
  • Sunday in a typical French provincial town, with total relaxation and perhaps a little shopping in one of the many specialty shops.

late summer is still lovely in Provence, just a normal summer in Denmark, so why not extend this with a stay at our wonderful place where we spice the day with some impressions from the original Provence.

We offer an extended weekend of 3 days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) or (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) with a mini-course.  

  • 4 hour painting course (all materials included).
  • Dinner at the Michelin restaurant Bruno (French truffle king)
  • 1-day cooking course with shopping at local market

Price per. person in double room 320 Euros: Price per. person in single room 470 Euros

The stay may be extended or combined with wine tasting at some of the area's many wineries. Prices incl. Breakfast, picturesque course dinner with Bruno, cooking class, followed by dinner, without wine and various other beverages.
